Summary

CVE-2024-8873 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the PeproDev WooCommerce Receipt Uploader plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.6.9 are susceptible to this issue. The flaw lies in the way add_query_arg is used without proper escaping in the plugin's URLs. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking users into clicking on malicious links, allowing the injection of arbitrary web scripts that execute on affected pages.
