Summary

CVE-2024-7580 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Alien Technology ALR-F800 up to version 19.10.24.00. The issue lies within the /admin/system.html file and permits os command injection through manipulation of the uploadedFile argument with the input ;whoami. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, and the attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. The vulnerability has been made public, increasing the risk for potential attacks. Unfortunately, the vendor was not responsive when contacted regarding this disclosure.
