Summary
CVE-2024-7158 is a critical vulnerability affecting the TOTOLINK A3100R in its HTTP POST Request Handler component. The flaw lies in the setTelnetCfg function of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi, which can be exploited through manipulation of the telnet_enabled argument. This allows remote attackers to inject commands, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability, identified as VDB-272572, has been disclosed to the public, and there is evidence that it is already being exploited. Despite early notification, the vendor has yet to respond.
