Summary
CVE-2024-5673 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting version 1.7.8 of Dulldusk's PHP File Manager. This issue permits an XSS attack through the fm_current_dir parameter in index.php. An authenticated user could be targeted with a malicious JavaScript payload, allowing an attacker to partially hijack their browser session. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized data access or manipulation within the affected application. It is recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of the PHP File Manager to mitigate this risk.
