Summary
CVE-2024-5613 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Formula theme for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'quality_customizer_notify_dismiss_action' AJAX function, where input sanitization and output escaping are insufficient. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious web scripts into pages. Users are at risk if they click on a crafted link, allowing the attacker to execute the scripts and potentially steal sensitive information or take control of the user's site. Versions up to and including 0.5.1 are impacted.
