Summary

CVE-2024-5341 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting The Plus Addons for Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, specifically the 'size' attribute of the Heading Title widget. This flaw allows authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject malicious web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Versions up to and including 5.5.4 are vulnerable to this issue.
