Summary
CVE-2024-5327 is a DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the PowerPack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.7.19, permits authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'pp_animated_gradient_bg_color' parameter. Successful exploitation results in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
