Summary
CVE-2024-5084 is a vulnerability affecting the Hash Form – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'file_upload_action' function, which fails to validate file types during upload. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness to upload arbitrary files, potentially gaining the ability to execute remote code on the compromised server. This vulnerability poses a significant security risk and requires immediate attention from WordPress site administrators using the affected plugin version 1.1.0 and below.
