Summary

CVE-2024-4790 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting DedeCMS 5.7.114. The issue lies in the file /sys_verifies.php?action=view and involves a path traversal vulnerability. By manipulating the argument filename with the input ../../../../../etc/passwd and the path '../filedir', an attacker can access sensitive files and potentially gain unauthorized access. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, and the exploit has been made public.
