Summary

CVE-2024-4702 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Mega Elements plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into the Button widget. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, resulting in the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an affected page.
