Summary

CVE-2024-4299 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting HGiga iSherlock and its components, including MailSherlock, SpamSherlock, and AuditSherlock. The system configuration interface of these applications is found to be vulnerable to command injection attacks due to insufficient filtering of special characters in specific function parameters. attackers with administrative privileges can exploit this flaw, allowing them to inject and execute arbitrary system commands, potentially leading to significant security risks and system compromise.
