Summary

CVE-2024-4298 is a critical vulnerability affecting HGiga's iSherlock email search interface, including MailSherlock, SpamSherlock, and AuditSherlock. This issue arises from the interface's inability to filter special characters in specific function parameters. Consequently, attackers with administrative access can exploit this flaw for Command Injection attacks, allowing them to execute arbitrary system commands and potentially gain unauthorized access or cause significant damage to the affected system.
