Summary
CVE-2024-4292 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Contemporary Controls BASrouter BACnet BASRT-B version 2.7.2. The issue lies within an unidentified function of the Device-Communication-Control Service. Manipulation of the input 55ff0500370015f30104025506110afb7519035d0841e4bece257b6acfc71f results in a denial-of-service condition. The exploit code has been made public, increasing the threat to affected systems. Vendor Contemporary Controls was contacted but did not respond to the disclosure.
