Summary

CVE-2024-4249 is a critical vulnerability affecting Tenda i21 firmware version 1.0.0.14(4656). The issue lies in the formwrlSSIDget function of the /goform/wifiSSIDget file. An attacker can manipulate the ssidIndex argument to cause a stack-based buffer overflow. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely and the exploit has been made public. The identifier for this issue is VDB-262142. Unfortunately, the vendor did not respond to early disclosure attempts, leaving the affected devices potentially vulnerable.
