Summary

CVE-2024-4126 is a recently disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Tenda W15E devices running version 15.11.0.14. The issue lies within the function formSetSysTime of the /goform/SetSysTimeCfg file, which can be exploited through manipulation of the manualTime argument. This results in a stack-based buffer overflow, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely. The exploit for this vulnerability has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. The vulnerability has been assigned the identifier VDB-261869. Unfortunately, the vendor was not responsive when contacted about the disclosure.
