Summary

CVE-2024-4125 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability that impacts the Tenda W15E's firmware version 15.11.0.14. The issue lies in the function formSetStaticRoute of the /goform/setStaticRoute file, where the argument staticRouteIndex is susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow. An attacker can remotely exploit this vulnerability, which has been made public and may now be used maliciously. The identifier for this vulnerability is VDB-261868. Regrettably, the vendor was contacted about this disclosure but did not respond with any remediation or acknowledgment.
