Summary

CVE-2024-4116 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Tenda W15E devices running firmware version 15.11.0.14. The issue lies in the formDelDhcpRule function of the /goform/DelDhcpRule file, which is susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow. An attacker can remotely exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the delDhcpIndex argument. The exploit for this vulnerability, identified as VDB-261859, has been made public, increasing the risk for potential attacks. Regrettably, the vendor did not respond to early disclosure attempts, leaving affected devices vulnerable.
