Summary

CVE-2024-4113 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability that affects the Tenda TX9 device running firmware version 22.03.02.10. The issue lies within the function sub_42D4DC of the SetSysTimeCfg file, which is susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow when the argument time is manipulated. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code. The exploit for this vulnerability, identified as VDB-261856, has been disclosed to the public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. Despite early notification, the vendor has not responded to this disclosure.
