Summary

CVE-2024-3872 is a vulnerability affecting Mattermost Mobile app versions 2.13.0 and earlier. The issue stems from the usage of a regular expression with polynomial complexity to parse deeplinks. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a maliciously long link, resulting in the freezing or crashing of the app.
