Summary

CVE-2024-36368 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting JetBrains TeamCity versions prior to 2022.04.7, 2022.10.6, 2023.05.6, and 2023.11.5. This issue allows an attacker to execute reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through the misconfiguration of an OAuth provider. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can inject malicious code into a targeted user's web browser, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized actions within the application. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to a patched version of TeamCity to mitigate this risk.
