Summary
CVE-2024-34566 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Johan van der Wijk's Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget) from undisclosed versions up to 3.3.0. Maliciously crafted input can be improperly neutralized during web page generation, leading to Stored XSS attacks. Attackers can inject malicious scripts into a website, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized access, or other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update their Content Blocks plugin to the latest version as soon as possible.
