Summary

CVE-2024-34075 is a vulnerability affecting the kurwov Markov Chain library. The issue lies in the unsafe handling of dataset contents in the `MarkovData#getNext` method, which is used in `Markov#generate` and `Markov#choose`. This vulnerability allows a maliciously crafted string in the dataset to bypass the sanitization process by accessing a special property in `MarkovData#finalData`. If the dataset contains a forbidden substring followed by a space character, the function will stop running properly, making it unable to generate Markov Chains in some cases. This issue has been resolved in version 3.2.5, and all users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible. At present, there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
