Summary

CVE-2024-33536 is a vulnerability affecting Zimbra Collaboration versions 9.0 and 10.0. This issue stems from insufficient input validation of the 'res' parameter, enabling authenticated attackers to inject and run arbitrary JavaScript code in other users' browser sessions. By uploading an externally accessible malicious JavaScript file and constructing a URL with its location in the 'res' parameter, attackers can exploit this flaw. When another user visits the engineered URL, the deceitful JavaScript code is executed, posing a significant security risk.
