Summary
CVE-2024-3343 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Otter Blocks plugin for WordPress, specifically its Gutenberg Blocks, Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE component. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.6.8, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied block attributes. Successful exploitation results in the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an affected page.
