Summary

CVE-2024-3280 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Follow Us Badges plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.1.10, exposes user-supplied attributes to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever an unsuspecting user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to data theft, site defacement, or other malicious activity.
