Summary
CVE-2024-32061 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Simcenter Femap versions prior to V2406. The issue stems from an out-of-bounds read flaw in the handling of IGS files. Maliciously crafted IGS files can cause the software to read past the designated memory space, potentially leading to code execution in the attacker's favor within the current process.
