Summary

CVE-2024-31474 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Aruba's Access Point management protocol (PAPI) and its associated CLI service. This issue permits an attacker to arbitrarily delete files on the underlying operating system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could potentially disrupt normal operations and compromise the integrity of the affected Access Point. The arbitrary file deletion capability poses a significant risk, as it allows an attacker to manipulate critical system files and undermine the security of the network infrastructure.
