Summary

CVE-2024-31469 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the Central Communications service. Maliciously crafted packets sent to the PAPI (Aruba's Access Point management protocol) UDP port (8211) can lead to unauthenticated remote code execution. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities grants the attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code with privileged user access on the underlying operating system.
