Summary

CVE-2024-3074 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor ImageBox plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.8, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into image box widgets. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, resulting in injected scripts being stored and executed whenever a user accesses an affected page.
