Summary

CVE-2024-3065 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the PayPal Pay Now, Buy Now, Donation and Cart Buttons plugin for WordPress. The flaw, present in all versions up to 1.7, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Attackers with administrator-level access can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant threat in multi-site installations and instances where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
