Summary

CVE-2024-30561 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Appointment Calendar component of Scientech It Solutions. The issue arises due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into the calendar application, potentially stealing sensitive user data or taking control of user sessions. This issue poses a serious security risk and affects all versions of the Appointment Calendar from n/a to 2.9.6. Users are advised to apply the latest security patches to mitigate this vulnerability.
