Summary
CVE-2024-30557 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Aesop Story Engine from versions n/a through 2.3.2. An attacker can exploit this Improper Neutralization of Input during web page generation issue to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website. The scripts can then be executed in the context of the victim's browser, leading to potential data theft or unauthorized account access. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of Aesop Story Engine to mitigate this risk.
