Summary

CVE-2024-30457 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that puts WordPress Meta Data and Taxonomies Filter (MDTF) versions 1.3.3.1 and older at risk. An attacker could exploit this issue by tricking a user into visiting a malicious website or clicking a malicious link. Once the user performs certain actions on the targeted website, the attacker could perform unauthorized actions on behalf of the user within the MDTF plugin. This could potentially lead to data modification or unauthorized access, posing a significant threat to website security.
