Summary

CVE-2024-29932 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WordPress Meta Data and Taxonomies Filter (MDTF) plugin. The flaw, which allows Stored XSS, occurs due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. This vulnerability can be exploited by attackers to inject malicious scripts into a website, potentially stealing user data or taking control of user sessions. The MDTF plugin, which is used for filtering metadata and taxonomies in WordPress, is impacted from all versions up to and including 1.3.2.
