Summary
CVE-2024-29930 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CurrencyRate.Today Crypto Converter Widget. This issue arises due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into the widget, potentially stealing user data or taking control of their browsing sessions. The affected versions of the Crypto Converter Widget range from n/a to 1.8.4. Users are advised to update to the latest version or consider implementing Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to mitigate the risk of XSS attacks.
