Summary

CVE-2024-2992 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda FH1203 2.0.1.6 firmware. This issue lies in the function formSetCfm of the /goform/setcfm file, where the argument funcpara1 is susceptible to stack-based buffer overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code. Unfortunatey, the exploit for this vulnerability has been made public, increasing the risk for potential attacks. The vulnerability has been assigned the identifier VDB-258161.
