Summary

CVE-2024-2121 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Website Builder Pro plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.20.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level or above permissions to inject malicious scripts into the Media Carousel widget. The input sanitization and output escaping processes are insufficient, enabling the attacker to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
