Summary

CVE-2024-29878 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in Sentrifugo 3.2. The issue lies in the "/sentrifugo/index.php/sitepreference/add" endpoint and the 'description' parameter. A remote user can exploit this flaw by constructing a malicious URL and sending it to the victim. Successful exploitation could result in the theft of the victim's session data. Users are advised to update to the latest version of Sentrifugo to mitigate this risk.
