Summary

CVE-2024-2985 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) firmware. The issue lies in the function formQuickIndex of the /goform/QuickIndex file where the argument PPPOEPassword can be manipulated to cause a stack-based buffer overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, making it a significant threat. The exploit for this issue has already been disclosed to the public, increasing the risk. Vendor VDB-258154 identifies this vulnerability, and despite early disclosure, the vendor has not responded.
