Summary

CVE-2024-29799 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting WP Fast Total Search, a search plugin for WordPress. Versions from n/a to 1.59.211 are susceptible to this issue. The issue arises due to improper neutralization of user inputs during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a webpage, allowing them to steal user data or take control of user sessions.
