Summary

CVE-2024-29762 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 0.5.8.1 and earlier of Jory Hogeveen Off-Canvas Sidebars & Menus (Slidebars). This issue arises due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, leading to unauthorized access or data theft when users visit the site. The attacker can store these scripts in a persistent manner, increasing the potential impact and longevity of the attack.
