Summary

CVE-2024-2970 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the News Wall plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.1.0 are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability stems from insufficient nonce validation in the nwap_newslist_page() function, exposing the plugin to unauthenticated attackers. By tricking a site administrator into executing a malicious action, such as clicking on a link, attackers can modify plugin settings and manipulate news lists.
