Summary

CVE-2024-29098 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting WP Calameo, a plugin used for document and eBook publishing on WordPress sites. The issue, named Stored XSS, lies in the plugin's handling of user input during web page generation. Maliciously crafted input can be stored in Calameo WP, allowing attackers to inject and execute malicious scripts in users' web browsers. This can lead to information theft, session hijacking, or even complete site takeover. Versions from n/a through 2.1.7 are reportedly affected.
