Summary

CVE-2024-2909 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability that affects Ruijie RG-EG350 devices up to version 20240318. The issue lies within the function setAction of the file /itbox_pi/networksafe.php?a=set in the HTTP POST Request Handler component. Manipulation of the argument bandwidth enables os command injection, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability, also known as VDB-257977, has been made public, increasing the risk of exploitation. Despite early notification, the vendor has not responded to disclose a patch or mitigation strategy.
