Summary

CVE-2024-29042 is a vulnerability affecting the Translate package used for text conversion in Node.js and browsers. Before version 3.0.0, this package was susceptible to cache poisoning attacks. An attacker could manipulate the second argument of the `translate` function, overwriting the cache key with `opt.id`. Subsequent users' translation requests could then be intercepted and served with incorrect responses. Version 3.0.0 addresses this issue by implementing proper cache management.
