Summary

CVE-2024-29032 is a vulnerability affecting the Qiskit IBM Runtime, a platform that simplifies quantum computations and optimizes implementations of Qiskit, a popular quantum computing SDK. Prior to version 0.21.2, deserializing JSON data using `qiskit_ibm_runtime.RuntimeDecoder` could result in arbitrary code execution due to a flaw. This issue can be exploited by providing a specially crafted JSON input string. Version 0.21.2 has been released, addressing this vulnerability. Users are encouraged to update their environments to ensure security.
