Summary

CVE-2024-2902 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Tenda AC7 devices running firmware version 15.03.06.44. The issue lies in the fromSetWifiGusetBasic function of the /goform/WifiGuestSet file. An attacker can exploit this stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability by manipulating the shareSpeed argument, which could be initiated remotely. The exploit code has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. This vulnerability was assigned the identifier VDB-257945 and the vendor was contacted but did not provide a response.
