Summary

CVE-2024-2855 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting Tenda AC15 routers running firmware versions 15.03.05.18, 15.03.05.19, and 15.03.20. This issue lies within the fromSetSysTime function in the SetSysTimeCfg file and results from a stack-based buffer overflow caused by manipulating the time argument. The exploit can be launched remotely, and the attacker can take advantage of this vulnerability without response from the vendor, who has not addressed the issue.
