Summary

CVE-2024-2853 is a critical vulnerability affecting Tenda AC15.03.06.48/15.03.06.49 routers. The issue lies in the function formSetSambaConf of the file /goform/setsambacfg. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the usbName argument, resulting in os command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely, making it a significant threat. Unfortunately, the vendor did not respond to early disclosure efforts.
