Summary

CVE-2024-2852 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda AC15 router with firmware version 15.03.20_multi. The issue lies in the function saveParentControlInfo of the /goform/saveParentControlInfo file, which is susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow due to the manipulation of the urls argument. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code. The exploit for this vulnerability, identified as VDB-257776, has been made public. Despite early notification, the vendor has not responded to the disclosure.
